BlockApps present an Ethereum-powered network with Bayer. The main goal of the project is to observe the process of farm products cycling including a major pharmaceutical firm among its clients.
On Nov 18, blockchain as a Service company BlockApps introduced a blockchain-powered country yield following tracking system named "TraceHarvest" and one of the biggest organizations, Bayer, is amongst its first customers. TraceHarvest allows users to follow the life sequence of agricultural goods. This means beginning from the origin of grains through describing the liabilities of each member engaged in the supply chain.
The network delivers real-time data diminishing troubles concerning the physically following harvests.
BlockApps partnered with Bayer's German subdivision Bayer Crop Science for this design. Bayer contributed to the expansion of the network and has been running it last 2 years in consumer-related processes in the US and Brazil to follow soybean and corn yields alongside other harvests.
