Despite a recent meeting with Tron Foundation CEO Justin Sun and a number of other cryptocurrency industry representatives, well-known investor and Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett remains convinced that digital assets are worthless.
Sun's expected last year meeting with the often-critical of cryptocurrency Buffett took place in January, after which the head of Tron announced that he'd given him the first Bitcoin and TRX.
Sun said on the eve, that in fact, Buffett now also holds Bitcoin.
Buffett himself, however, looks at this question somewhat differently. “Cryptocurrencies basically have no value and they don’t produce anything. In terms of value: zero. I don’t have any cryptocurrency and I never will,” he said in an interview with CNBC.
At the same time, Warren Buffett praised the meeting with the founder of Tron.
“When Justin and four friends came, they behaved perfectly and we had a very friendly 3½-hour dinner and the whole thing was a very friendly exchange of ideas,” he added.
